INTEGRATED RURAL COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT
A vibrant CBO formed in 2009 as CBO and which later attained an NGO status as (Not For-Profit-Organisation) in Kanungu; 300m from Kanungu District Local Government Offices, along Independence Road.
The organisation operates in the South West and works to strengthen potentials of rural communities, young mothers, youth, women to mitigate climate change measures, attain socially acceptable living standards and overcome poverty through, self-employment, information sharing and community action.
IRUCE COMMUNITIES' PROGRAMS
Advocating for the children’s right to stay in school through the game the program attracted pupils in and out of school children in the communities through the game of football and net ball for both boys and girls.
In view of the above our cries are unwiped and advocacy is our tool, the program emphasizes sensitization and citizens Participation in justice, equality and sensitivity on the rights of the people,
Through providing equipment like balls, playing kit, and improving the playing facilities in the rural communities in Kanungu. The Program is mentored by Fr. Fidelis Kibuzo as Patron and Andrew Akampurira and Dennis Karugaba
